BLOG | Getting organised....

Hiya all, just a teensy weeny post to say I am sorry I have been the following lately:

bad blogger / bad tweeter / bad you tuber / bad blog reader / bad networker

I have been spending more time away from my screen and phone and focusing on spending more time with Savannah. There has been no major reason why apart from my husband has been working 7 days a week and longer weekdays recently so obviously that means less free time for me to write. I kind of fancied the break anyway really so it worked out well, it happens now and then doesn't it? These days, I don't feel the need to blog every five minutes especially when I haven't got much to say (I would just bore people!) there are so many amazing bloggers out there who do it so much better than me and who have the time to network, write fantastic posts every day and who take a thousand times better photos than I ever could which makes me not feel the need to compete like I once did. I will write what I want when I want and hopefully those who read my blog regularly enjoy it.

I think I want to spend more time networking and reading other blogs over the next month or so and less time worrying about mine because I haven't read other peoples words properly for a long time and I miss it. I have found a few ways to get myself more organised so that I don't neglect my time with Savannah but don't neglect my blog either which I am putting into practice from now so I should be a much better blogger / vlogger while still being a good mummy. (I hope).

I hope you're all well!

  1. I think finding a balance is important, I don't want to spend my whole life behind a screen, but I also don't want to neglect something that I love to do. I normally set aside time especially dedicated to writing, reading other blogs and networking. However, if there is a good reason why blogging has taken a backseat, it's a little one! <3

    1. That's what I have always done but babies don't understand schedules! Especially when daddy is working late! :) it doesn't matter to take a break now and then though I don't think, I am raring to go again now and I have a bit more of a blogging routine sorted in my head which involves more forward planning and scheduling blog posts in advance so it is all taken care of and not taking up tons of time! xx

  2. I think it's particularly difficult to juggle having a life with having a blog and sometimes you just need that break away from it. You should enjoy blogging and if it is getting too much then a break can do wonders to bring back the motivation!

    1. I agree, it definitely brings back my motivation! almost like my brain has a little recharge! xx

  3. Dont worry about us, we'll always be here, enjoy every minute with Savannah, she'll grow so quickly!
Its all about balance so pop back when you can, you'll probably be filled with inspiration by then!
I always find a little break works wonders :)

    1. Aw nice to know u guys will always be here. Thats comforting and true! You're right! It is so hard sometimes and I hate trying to blog when I can see Savannah wants my attention, feel so guilty! Nice to have had a break and recharged the ol' brain!! Xx
